Inspiration - F1-67

The cars used for the late 1960s F1 and Indy races , for me , represented the high point of racecar purity , an unbeatable combination of classic , uncluttered looks , large powerful engines and limited grip.

The wings and slicks era came and sent premier league racecars down a never-ending spiral of aerodynamic excess resulting in today’s wind tunnel honed computer perfected cars - or should that be inverted aircraft ? As an admirer of all that was F1 from 1967/ 8 i have always wondered wether it might be possible to recreate the on track feeling of that period in an affordable way - F1-67 is the result .
