Drivetrain - F1-67

Throughout most of my racing life i have always worked hard at one thing - making sure that cars will get to the last lap time and time again . As an engineer or a racer there is nothing worse than retiring for the wrong reasons and going home gutted at having wasted a raceday for the sake of what are often minor issues , the F1-67 has been built to be reliable , the engines run at stock rev limits and relatively low power , the LS1 engine in stock form produces over 300 horsepower which in a 650 kg car gives us 460 bhp/tonne a very healthy figure that will keep most drivers positively alert at all times ! the gearboxes used are also well within their usage parameters being capable of handling near to 500bhp.
